ArtLab interns ages 14-18 will collaborate with Creative Resident, Italian filmmaker Sandro Del Rosario to create new forms of stop frame animation. Eight interns will work with Sandro 8 hours per week for 5 weeks to create their own hand manipulated film frames for a collaborative film. In addition, ArtLab interns will work 8 hours per week with younger youth ages 6-13 in our animation workshops and in post-production with an animation instructor. These teenagers will learn about several different processes through pre- production storyboarding, in-process production and post-production editing.
Animation Festival
Work produced by Sandro Del Rosario, ArtLab teens and participants in our summer animation workshops and intensives will be presented on July 21 at our First Annimatiion Festival. Details will be announced in May, but save the date for this exciting event!
