Creative Resident Julia Karll is a fiber artist who sees her art as a means of expressing emotional reactions to world situations, specifically the tragic stories in the news everyday. While in residence she is collaborating with Denver-area teachers to create a sculptural installation that uses the raw material of newspapers and news media, thus underscoring how these stories are a part of our everyday lives.
